How-To Guide:

  • What to Plant: Mint, basil, cilantro, lavender, and rosemary are excellent for beginners.
  • Planting Tips: Use containers or a small section of your garden. Ensure they have good soil, adequate sunlight, and regular watering.
  • Harvesting: It's important to harvest herbs correctly to promote growth. Harvest herbs regularly during the growing season once the plant has enough foliage to maintain continued growth. Cut sprigs of herbs just above a leaf cluster or, in the case of parsley and chives, at the bottom of the stem. Remove dead or damaged leaves and wipe off dirt that may be present.
