Drink of the Week

The Peach Bellini is a classic summer cocktail that captures the juicy sweetness of ripe peaches, blended with sparkling wine for a delightful and refreshing drink.

Did you know?

The Peach Bellini, a renowned cocktail, originated in Venice, Italy, at the iconic Harry's Bar. It was invented in 1948 by the bar's founder, Giuseppe Cipriani, who named it after the famous 15th-century Venetian painter Giovanni Bellini. Cipriani was inspired by the pinkish hue in one of Bellini's paintings, which matched the color of the cocktail perfectly. The Peach Bellini quickly gained popularity and became a symbol of Venetian elegance, eventually spreading to bars and restaurants worldwide. This delightful drink is a testament to the timeless appeal of combining fresh, ripe peaches with sparkling wine.

Nectarines

Nectarines are similar to peaches but with a smoother skin. They are packed with nutrients and have a slightly firmer texture. Use nectarines in salsas or bake them into tarts for a delicious dessert. Store both Peaches & Nectairnes at room temperature until ripe, then refrigerate to prolong freshness. Freeze grapes for a cool snack or add them to your cheese platters. Keep grapes in the refrigerator, unwashed, in a ventilated bag. Wash before eating. For freezing, wash and dry grapes, then freeze on a baking sheet before transferring to a freezer bag.
