🔥 Drink of the Week: Blood Moon Margarita
Bold, juicy, and just the right amount of mysterious - this margarita glows with blood orange and a Tajín kick, perfect for supermoon sipping.
Ingredients:
2 oz blanco tequila
1 oz blood orange juice
0.75 oz lime juice
0.5 oz agave syrup (adjust to taste)
Tajín or chili salt for the rim
Garnish: dehydrated orange or blood orange slice
Directions:
Rim a rocks glass with lime and Tajín or chili salt.
In a shaker with ice, add tequila, blood orange juice, lime juice, and agave.
Shake well and strain over fresh ice into your rimmed glass.
Garnish with a citrus wheel and enjoy with the moon overhead.
Pro tip: Use freshly squeezed blood orange juice when in season - or bottled (100% juice) when it’s not.

Sipping Under the Supermoon
There’s something about nighttime in October. The way the air cools just enough to feel like an invitation. The quiet. The softness. The moon, bigger and brighter than usual, pulling your attention, and your glass, skyward.
This week’s drinks aren’t meant to be rushed. They’re meant for pause. For ritual. For gathering your people (or your peace) and watching the world slow down.
Whether you’re on a patio, fire escape, or wrapped in a blanket by the window, let your drink be a little reminder: you are orbiting something beautiful.

💡 Answer to Trivia Question:
During a lunar eclipse, the Earth blocks direct sunlight - but some light passes through our atmosphere, bending red wavelengths toward the moon. This makes it appear redder and larger, hence the name “blood moon.”
🏁 Closing Time
Let the night be your bartender this week. These cocktails are meant for ritual, reflection, and a touch of celestial drama. So grab your shaker, turn off the overhead lights, and let the moon light your way to a better pour.
Stay luminous,
Andrea
