Drink of the Week

🥃 Cocktail #1 is our Drink of the Week: The Shamrock Sour (A Green Whiskey Sour Done Right!)

Let’s skip the neon-green gimmicks and keep it classy with a well-balanced, Irish whiskey sour. This version has a touch of honey & a pop of color from a dash of green Chartreuse.

🍺 Cocktail #2: The Black Velvet (Guinness + Champagne = Unexpected Perfection)

If you think Guinness only belongs in a pint glass, think again! The Black Velvet is a surprisingly elegant drink that combines the rich, creamy goodness of stout with the effervescent crispness of champagne.

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz Guinness stout

  • 4 oz champagne (or dry prosecco)

Instructions:

  1. Fill a flute or pint glass halfway with Guinness.

  2. Slowly top with champagne, pouring over the back of a spoon to create a layered effect.

  3. Toast to classy Irish vibes and enjoy! 🥂

🔥 Pro Tip: This works with any dry sparkling wine, but a brut prosecco pairs beautifully.

🥥 Cocktail #3: The Dublin Mule (A Whiskey-Twist on the Classic Moscow Mule)

If you love Moscow Mules, meet your new favorite St. Paddy’s Day drink. Swapping vodka for Irish whiskey adds warmth and depth while still keeping things crisp & refreshing.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Irish whiskey

  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice

  • 4 oz ginger beer

  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters (optional but adds complexity!)

  • Lime wheel & fresh mint for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Fill a copper mug or rocks glass with ice.

  2. Pour in the Irish whiskey and lime juice.

  3. Top with ginger beer and bitters. Stir gently.

  4. Garnish with a lime wheel & fresh mint.

  5. Sip & pretend you’re in a Dublin pub. 🍀

🍫 Mocktail Option: Irish Cream Cold Brew (No Booze, All the Flavor!)

Not drinking? No problem. This creamy, dreamy coffee drink is perfect for morning or night, giving you the flavors of Irish cream without the whiskey.

Ingredients:

  • 3 oz cold brew coffee (or iced espresso)

  • 2 oz homemade Irish cream (recipe below!)

  • Whipped cream & cocoa powder for garnish

For Homemade Irish Cream (Non-Alcoholic!):

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

  • 2 tbsp sweetened condensed milk

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp cocoa powder

  • 1/4 tsp instant espresso powder

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Blend all Irish cream ingredients until smooth.

  2. Fill a glass with ice & pour cold brew over it.

  3. Stir in 2 oz homemade Irish cream.

  4. Top with whipped cream & a dusting of cocoa powder.

  5. Sip & feel cozy. ☕
