🎉 87-Year-Old Legend Throws a "Party of the Year"
Age is just a number—especially when it comes to throwing a good, old-fashioned rager. Meet Chris Person, an 87-year-old man in San Francisco who decided to go door-to-door delivering handwritten invitations to his party, letting neighbors know it would be happening “from 4 PM until the cops arrive.”
I don’t know about you but I want to aspire to be as fun as this at any age! I love that he was delivering handwritten invites. That’s a lost art these days, don’t you think?
And guess what? The neighborhood showed up. People of all ages came together to celebrate, proving that fun, friendship, and community know no age limit.
🥂 Moral of the story? Be the one who brings people together.

💡 Answer to Trivia Question:
Before being used to age bourbon, barrels were originally used for storing and transporting various goods such as fish, nails, molasses, and dry goods. Early American distillers repurposed these barrels to store whiskey, and over time, they discovered that the charred wood inside enhanced the flavor, leading to the barrel-aging process we know today.
🔥 Fun Fact: By law, bourbon must be aged in new, charred oak barrels, which is why used bourbon barrels often get repurposed for aging rum, Scotch whisky, and even beer!
As we sip on our Golden Glow cocktails and reflect on these uplifting stories, let's carry forward the positive energy and continue to spread joy in our communities.
Cheers to the good news and the good times ahead! 🥂
