Custom Cocktail

The Gold Medal Martini is a luxurious twist on the classic cocktail, created to celebrate the victories and triumphs of athletes during the Summer Olympics. This sophisticated drink combines the smoothness of vodka with the floral sweetness of elderflower liqueur and the crispness of dry vermouth. Garnished with a lemon twist and, for an extra touch of elegance, a sprinkle of edible gold flakes.

Did you know that edible gold has been used in culinary traditions for centuries, dating back to ancient Egypt, where it was believed to have divine properties and was consumed to promote health and longevity. Today, edible gold is primarily used as a decorative element in luxury foods and drinks. It is considered safe to eat, as it is biologically inert, meaning it passes through the digestive system without being absorbed. Edible gold adds a touch of opulence and sophistication to any dish or cocktail, making it perfect for celebratory occasions like the Summer Olympics. You can find your own at slofoodgroup.com.
