The Zen Harmony Highball combines the smooth elegance of Japanese whisky with the refreshing taste of yuzu and the subtle sweetness of honey, creating a harmonious and balanced cocktail that's perfect for summer. Interesting Fact: Japanese whisky is known for its meticulous craftsmanship and balance, often drawing inspiration from traditional Scottish whisky-making techniques but with a distinct Japanese sensibility. More about Yuzu: It's a small citrus fruit bursting with character, is a true gem of the East. Roughly the size of a billiard ball, yuzu's taste is a tantalizing blend of tartness and floral notes, striking a balance between the zing of a Eureka lemon and the sweetness of an Oro Blanco grapefruit, yet it stands in a league of its own. Its intoxicating aroma is so revered in Japan that yuzu is used in perfumes and featured in the traditional Toji bath during the winter solstice. This extraordinary citrus elevates our yuzu cocktail recipe to new heights. |
